Recently the Intel has announced its upcoming Thunderbolt 4 as its new standard. Intel states that the Thunderbolt will be first support its Tiger Lake mobile processor(will integrate with) and later it will join with the WIFI 6 and Bluetooth 5 and it also states that the Thunderbolt 4 will work with the Thunderbolt 3 PCs and its homogeneous devices. The series will begin with JHL8540 and JHL 8340 host controllers for computers and JHL8440 device controllers for accessories. Intel claiming that the Thunderbolt 4 will be four times faster than the USBs and you can expect 80gbps bandwidth for Thunderbolt 4. Later it mentioned it will transfer data at 40GBPS .
