    Qualcomm is an American public multinational corporation headquartered in San Diego, California and incorporated in Delaware. It creates semiconductors, software and services related to wireless technology. The company was founded in 1985 by seven people, now it has more than 41000 employees in more than 170 offices in 40 different countries.
    
    Qualcomm works on mobile platforms, compute platforms, XR platforms and 5G Modems. For mobiles Qualcomm brings the processor called snapdragon for the smarter, faster, better mobile performance. Snapdragon is the semiconductor chip which includes GPU, DSP and other components to support global positioning system, camera,video, gesture detection and AI acceleration. The first snapdragon version was released on december 2007. The laptop companies like Asus, hp and Lenovo are also using Qualcomm snapdragon on windows 10 marking an entry with Qualcomm and ARM architecture.



    Recently Qualcomm introduces the snapdragon 865 plus 5G mobile platform. the company tells that this platform will be a gamers biggest weapon. It's speed will be upto 7.5 gbps which will give continuous streaming from cloud to provide the simultaneous real world like game battle. It gives PC quality games in mobile convenience with GPU drivers, 144 HZ display support , desktop forward rendering and more. With the help of AI powered engine in snapdragon 865 plus will eliminate language barriers with real time translation capabilities for better and unstoppable communication with global teammates. 

    It has improved Qualcomm® Kryo™ 585 CPU and Qualcomm® Adreno™ 650 GPU yield high-intensity performance with power efficiency, while Qualcomm® FastConnect™ 6900 System compatibility, with Wi-Fi 6E, is designed to deliver unprecedented speeds and low latency connections.

     Recently the Intel has announced its upcoming Thunderbolt 4 as its new standard. Intel states that the Thunderbolt will be first support its Tiger Lake mobile processor(will integrate with) and later it will join with the WIFI 6 and Bluetooth 5 and it also states that the Thunderbolt 4 will work with the Thunderbolt 3 PCs and its homogeneous devices.      The series will begin with JHL8540 and JHL 8340 host controllers for computers and JHL8440 device controllers for accessories. ROBOTIC THREAD CREATED BY MIT ENGINEERS TO TREAT STROKE INJURY

         MIT engineers developed the magnetically steerable thread like robot which easily navigate and glide through blood vessels (even in small narrow ways). It is developed in order to treat the patients brain blockages and lesions. They tells in the upcoming years this technology can be put together with endovascular technologies and with the guidance of doctors the robot can be easily pass through the patients brain vessels to treat blockages caused by strokes.Xuanhe Zhao the associate professor of mechanical engineering and of civil in MIT tells if we could treat the blood vessel blockages in brain within 90 minutes with the use this technology, we can avoid the permanent brain damage.
